PARKING - Allow for Extra Time, Park in Lots 5, 6, 7, Be Safe
Please note that construction has begun on a new parking lot and the southern leg of our internal road. This means that the southern leg of the internal road is closed, as well as a number of parking spaces in lots 2 and 3. Incoming and outgoing traffic patterns will be clearly marked through these lots during the construction period, expected to last through December 2015. Of particular concern is the crossing between lots 2 and 3, where pedestrian and automobile traffic will mix. This intersection is clearly marked, but you should be aware that pedestrians have the right-of-way at this intersection. Both pedestrians and motorists should exercise extreme caution. When complete the new 170-space lot will add at least a dozen additional spaces to campus parking, even as lot 2 is closed for the new building construction.
To avoid the construction congestion, you are invited to use lots 5, 6, and 7 on the east side of the campus. Students may want to allow extra time to get to class due to the construction and parking changes.
>>> CLICK HERE TO see the illustration <http://osumarion.osu.edu/assets/marion/uploads/Parking_Lot_Construction_Traffic_Pattern_2.pdf> and thank you for your patience during this first phase of our Science/Engineering Building Project.

Flu Shots for Faculty/Staff and All Dependents
Visit an in-network pharmacy. Faculty, staff, and family members 7 years of age and older (dependents of University and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Faculty/Staff) enrolled in a university medical plan can receive a flu shot at no charge from a retail pharmacy in the OSUHP pharmacy network. You can get your flu shot at any in-network pharmacy, but the following pharmacies are preferred for your flu vaccine: Costco, CVS, Good Neighbor Pharmacy Provider, Kroger, Meijer, Rite Aid, and Target. Simply present your OSU Health Plan medical/prescription drug ID card, and there will be no copay or out-of-pocket expenses. Please note that flu shots must be provided and administered by the pharmacy.
Illegal use of new University Drive extension
As the new road along the west edge of campus (the "University Drive" extension) nears completion and-to some-may appear to be complete, it apparently has become rather tempting for some people to use it. However, it has not officially opened and technically belongs to the contractor, not the county, until construction is complete. Those not authorized to be on the road are trespassing.
The county engineer and the contractor have asked that we remind faculty, staff, and students that the road is not open. Non-construction traffic on the road endangers both the workers and the drivers. The construction company will be putting more significant barriers at either end of the road to help make this point.
You should know that the county and the contractors will begin making note of license plate numbers and vehicle descriptions of drivers illegally on the road and will give them to the Marion County Sheriff's Department.
