Dear Colleagues:

Last November I announced that Dean John Snyder advised me of his decision to step down as dean and director of The Ohio State University at Lima campus at the end of his second term in June 2013.  During a transition period, I have recommended to President Gee the appointment of Greg as interim dean and director at the Lima campus.  Subject to approval by The Ohio State University Board of Trustees, this interim dean appointment will be effective July 1, 2013.  Greg will continue as dean and director of the Marion campus, and he and Associate Dean Bishun Pandey will collaborate closely during this transition period.

During fall semester, we intend to assemble a committee to search for a permanent dean and director at the Lima campus, and we appreciate the willingness of Greg and Bishun to serve in these leadership roles during this transition and until we have identified Lima campus's permanent dean and director.
