Dear Colleagues,

Please join us for a discussion of a chapter (see attachment) from Delia Fernandez-Jones's book manuscript, Latinos Against the Grain: Mexican and Puerto Rican Migration, Placemaking, and Activism in Michigan, 1920-1978 on Nov 18 (Thurs) from 4-5:30 pm.

Dr. Fernandez-Jones is a graduate of The Ohio State's history PhD program and is a specialist in Latino/a history in the Midwest.  She currently teaches history at Michigan State University.

The workshop will meet in Room 352 in the Research Commons (3rd floor of the 18th Ave Library).
