[Intl_DxMedPhys] Interesting CT artifact

Sharing this with the list in case anyone else ever runs into this artifact:

We came across a curious CT artifact last month. Streaks were occurring on abdo/pelvis scans at consistent positions/angles on axial slices, periodic with pitch (visible on coronal/sagittal reformats), suggesting something was happening at specific tube-detector angular positions. Spilled contrast on the gantry or table was ruled out. The problem was eventually diagnosed as a faulty detector converter card. Detector array was replaced, and artifact went away!
