[Intl_DxMedPhys] Digital mammo and EM interference

Hi Harry,
I recall a talk during the Henderson, NV Spring Clinical meeting in which
the speaker (don't recall who) discussed RF interference in Mammography.
They have the room the tin foil hat treatment: wrapped the walls in copper
RF shielding. I think there is also a RF paint available, which might be
more practical.
Many years ago I dealt with RF interference to a suite of ultrasound units,
which caused random twinkle artifacts in color Doppler and localized
speckle variation in b-mode. We had a RF consultant investigate, but we
never were able to identify the source of the RF.
Best of luck,
Daniel Vergara
