Dear colleagues,
We are excited to announce that the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is recruiting a Clinical Nuclear Medicine Physicist faculty member.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and growing imaging physics team that supports a rapidly expanding nuclear medicine and theranostics program across the Emory Healthcare system. The individual in this position will work closely with physicians, technologists, trainees, and fellow physicists, while contributing to clinical operations, quality and safety initiatives, education, research, and innovation within an academic medical center. Our division supports more than 12 hospitals with a team of over 12 imaging physicists, who are integrated into clinical operations, decision-making, and innovation efforts throughout the health system. The department also benefits from outstanding leadership, a collaborative culture, and an innovative centralized radiology service line<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41692144/__;!!KGKeukY!2RJ7ZDGAtyjatuf14sFt3HD74k5Cq_TvOmNc1S2fipJQ8PAtXzunjColMqWupeIN4159vUfZHizxZrzNy4Ub_g7r2dNllUJB3xQZtfwlB2w1xgN7cl0$ >, with organized efforts in clinical informatics and quality and safety that our physicists engage with regularly.
Also, Atlanta offers a vibrant quality of life, with an excellent food scene, a dynamic arts and entertainment calendar, abundant access to nature, a mild climate, and the convenience of the world’s busiest airport.
If you know someone who may be a strong fit, we would appreciate your sharing this opportunity with them. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the position. I'll be attending the AAPM Annual Meeting and would be happy to connect and discuss the opportunity in person.
Best regards,
