Hi Nicole,

Canadian sites are indeed able to participate in the DIR, as well as ACR's other registries. My understanding is that GDPR has updated standards wrt cloud storage so now European countries are also able to participate.

Best wishes,
Dustin

Dear List, (especially my fellow Canadians practicing in Canada),

It looks like the ACR sign up forms for participation in the DIR can accommodate Canadian addresses so I would guess that Canadian facilities are not prohibited from participating.

If I am correct and you are affiliated with a Canadian institution sending data to the DIR, I’d like to connect directly off list. My prior experience with the DIR was limited to the CT DIR sending data from a facility in the U.S. I’ve recently relocated back to Canada and am getting oriented to practice paradigms here and would like to explore our options. If you have an alternative that is working for you, I’d like to hear about that experience as well.

TIA
Nicole R
