[Intl_DxMedPhys] Siemens mammo QC

We switched from Siemens QC to ACR qc even when we had all Siemens units. In my opinion, the physics testing burden for the ACR QC manual is lower than the Siemens manual. Here are the tech QC requirements for 2D (tomo include a phantom at 0 degrees)

I have a client who is replacing their two Hologic Dimensions with Siemens mammo. I’m not familiar with Siemens QC, and not sure I want to learn. This client is a rarity in that all mammograms are read on-site, and mammograms read for

I have a client who is replacing their two Hologic Dimensions with Siemens mammo. I’m not familiar with Siemens QC, and not sure I want to learn. This client is a rarity in that all mammograms are read on-site, and mammograms read for other facilities are read on a different set of monitors. So that makes them an excellent candidate for adopting the ACR FFDM QC Manual.



So in order to sell them on this, I was wondering if anyone has compared the technologist QC burden for the Siemens QC program against that of the ACR manual. It’s always a good selling point if I can tell them that it would save the techs xyz minutes per week.
