We recently posted a full-time clinical faculty position at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston in the Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging Department on the AAPM website. The academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the level of expertise and experience.

The position focuses on the management of all diagnostic and nuclear medicine imaging modalities, as well as on radiation safety, including radionuclides. The section is actively involved in the education of radiology and medical physics residents. Appointees will be expected to allocate some time to education activities. Clinical research opportunities are available, but grant funding is not required.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Doctoral degree in medical physics or a related science. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible for board certification in Diagnostic Medical Physics and/or Nuclear Medicine and eligible for licensure in medical physics in the state of Texas. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with more than 5 years of clinical experience.
