Hi all,
Questions on the Nio Fusion 12MP monitor and MQSA.
Does anyone here have any experience with this monitor?
One of our old Uniti 12MP ended up with dead pixels, and so they are offering this 12MP or the new 32MP. I fear that our other Uniti's won't last super long and we can't afford to replace the entire fleet with the 32MP monitors in the future (especially if the rads all see the new one and want the big 32MP's). So I had a few questions, you can answer offline if you'd like.
Knowing:
1. The Nio Fusion 12 MP has a DICOM calibrated luminance of 600 cd/m2
* Does that mean it's luminance is comparable to the Coronis Fusion 6 MP (MDCC-6530), which also has the same spec rating?
* When compared to the DICOM calibrated luminance of 1000 cd/m2 of the Uniti 12 MP, which is what our breast radiologists currently use, will the Nio Fusion be noticeable as having a 40 % lower luminance rating?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this being utilized this way in actual clinical use? (going with one lower quality lower luminance rated monitor with the others in the fleet being higher?)
Any thoughts or recommendations?
Tony
