Subject: Permanent Position for Chief Radiology Physicist (Radiology & Nuclear Medicine) in Cork University Hospital

Hi Kevin, I wonder would you mind posting the attached job advert on the DXListServ ? It’s for a Chief Radiology Physicist post in a major hospital in Ireland. I’ve tried joining so I could post the advert myself but have yet to receive a response.

Hi All,

Cork University Hospital (CUH) is seeking to appoint a Chief Physicist (permanent post) to head up its Radiology Physics Department of 10 hospital physicists.

CUH itself is truly unique, being the largest HSE hospital in Ireland and the only Specialist Academic Teaching Hospital in the state with all acute surgical and medical specialities integrated on the same campus.

The hospital is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual ready to lead and meet the challenges presented by managing and contributing to a large service covering the Cork-Kerry region in Ireland. The successful candidate will also be well placed to contribute to the wider medical physics profession in Ireland in the years ahead.

If you are interested in joining us, apply before the post closes at 12 noon on the 17th of November 2025.
