We perform OBI testing annually for Linac and Proton OBIs at Ohio State. Our guidance document for testing is the report by task group number #142. We perform kV planar image quality as well as CBCT image quality evaluations along with tube output tests and CBCT dosimetry. Hello there!

I am new to my hospital (and am the only Diagnostic Physicist here) and have never had training on OBI units before. We have 4 here. Does anyone have any guidance on testing them? The therapy Physicists can assist in running the unit, but I do not know what tests to perform or what the set up is like. Any tips/trick/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!
