Good day List,

I have noticed a couple of emails about requesting documents from Siemens
scanners. I just wanted to share with you that I had had success using the
Siemens Documentation Library:

*Note that you would need to create an account that is affiliated with the
institution the scanner is. You might also need to configure your My
products page to include models you have to see the documents.

In addition, the documents are categorized by software version.

Within the library you have access to:

   1. Basic Planning Guides: contain important specs on equipment (like if
you needed a chilled water supply)
   2. System owner Manuals: contain technical specs including tubes.
   3. Instructions for Use – example, supplemental information on NEMA
   XR-28 (2018)
   4. Dose and Image Quality performance report: finding scatter surveys,
CTDI tables, image quality specs, etc…
   5. Release Information – information on a new software update (some that
   might even affect patient dose)

One example I found useful is how to program/re-program the A button which
positions the phantom for QC purposes.

Thanks,

Matthew Hoerner
