Nima, have you looked into see if the AC power is the potential source or
amplifying the issue? I know that is a common source of hum on microphones
(60 Hz noise). A simple solution would be to try the dictation microphones
on a laptop that is running off of battery. (That's assuming you can
reliably induce the noise hum on the reading stations.)
This post has some hints, but I fear this is an oversimplification of the
problem
https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.techhive.com/article/582313/how-to-get-rid-of-hum-and-eliminate-other-noises-from-your-audio-and-video-systems.html__;!!KGKeukY!zsolknrN7cRiiljxbR0Tm6j1GqqzCWiC0epSeDpCYlj30UYbM3_3QvyRil8UgFV6P2-6IdxJAupiKuT7_2obvrczWIwvbCmUOxXxuogLZ0rQpROS$
The equipment room electronics (RF & gradient amplifiers) are the likely
culprits if the noise source is truly tied to active image acquisition on
the MRI.
Good luck!
