[Intl_DxMedPhys] Non-radiologist operation of full-sized C-arms

Hi all,

I’ve been reviewing AAPM 124 on fluoro credentialling and privileging. Are there any circumstances in your institution/jurisdiction where a non-radiologist physician operates a full-sized C-arm without a MRT present? If so, which of the following apply?


  *   MRT must be present to set up patient and fluoro system at start of procedure
  *   Physician must have had formal fluoroscopy training via residency or fellowship
  *   Physicians who lack prior formal training must take training with both didactic and competency-based components
