Cleaning out old files from years ago, I came across references to these products. Does anyone know if Landauer ever solved their problems with Microstar reader and nanodots for use in therapy and imaging. I see that both were recalled about 18 months ago.
I always thought the concept was sound, but the implementation was not as well engineered as it needed to be.
I would be interested to hear of your experience, either privately on or the list. Does anyone still use these for research or clinical purposes? If not, what are folks using for these type of dose measurements. Somehow I doubt TLD’s have regained favor. They were the bane of my grad student existence, though i probably have more patience now than I did when I was in my 20’s.
