[Intl_DxMedPhys] insulin pumps and CT

What are the component/s in the insulin pump that would be affected by
radiation?  My gut reaction is that the person who wrote this guidance to
cover everything with lead did not have the needed understanding of
ionizing radiation and how it affects equipment.  What am I missing?
