Our X.cite beam widths are much larger than the nominal collimation, but within Siemens specifications. The owner manuals usually have two specifications, a FWHM and an overexposed film measurement and they include collimations with the flying focal spot (z-sharp). 61 mm beam width would be far outside of tolerances. Below is from our X.cite manual.

Good afternoon.
Is there a trick that anyone has found when testing beam width on the Siemens X.Cite CT scanners?
These systems are not as user friendly as others and you are limited to factor collimation settings. The collimation 64x.6 that I tested should have given me approx. 38.4mm and I measured 61mm. I know I need to pick a protocol without z-sharp, but has anyone else come across this and what did you find/ use for testing?
Thanks in advance.
