The Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists will be hosting the Virtual
2025 Mammography Workshop "CAMPEP". The workshop dates have been set for
April 4, 11, 17, 25, The speaker’s information and session topics are

designed to serve our diverse membership (both in modality and geography)
and will present a mix of fundamentals, cutting edge research, and new
imaging technologies.  Lectures will be delivered by internationally
renowned faculty and will be held in English, via zoom. Participation is
open to everyone, with discounts available for COMP members. This
initiative is being lead by Bassem Elshahat, PhD, DABR (DMP), MCCPM (NM),
MCCPM (Mammography).

Objectives: This workshop will help attendees to:

   - Demonstrate the general principles of Breast screening, DBT and
   contrast imaging
   - Identify the tomosynthesis/2D image quality and artifacts.
   Keep up to date with QC tests for differences Vendors
   - Learn about the clinical challenges of AI in Mammography imaging.
   - Understand the requirements of the Mammography accreditation programs.

Continuing Education Credits:

The 2025 Mammography workshop will apply for CAMPEP and CECAP.

Objectifs de l'atelier : Cet atelier aidera les participants à

   - Démontrer les principes généraux du dépistage du cancer du sein, de la
   tomodensitométrie et de l'imagerie de contraste.
   - Identifier la qualité de l'image de tomosynthèse/2D et les artefacts.
   - Se tenir au courant des tests de contrôle de qualité pour les
   différents fournisseurs.
   - Apprendre les défis cliniques de l'IA dans l'imagerie mammographique.
   - Comprendre les exigences des programmes d'accréditation en
   mammographie.

Crédits de formation continue :

L'atelier de mammographie de 2025 s'appliquera au CAMPEP et au CECAP.
