[Heb-NACO] RAS-AJL Cataloging Committee meeting and call for agenda items

Dear all,

Please mark your calendars for the annual RAS-AJL Cataloging Committee meeting which will be held on June 15th, 12:00 EDT. That is the week before AJL conference.

Connection details will be shared later in the month. In the meantime, this is a call for agenda items. Please send your suggestions to me, at neilfrau at gmail dot com.

In the meantime, here's a provisional agenda for the meeting

*             Approval of minutes
*             Committee membership and chair.
*             Possible modification of the current LC Classification Schedule caption in the BM674.6-BM674.76 range (Haggadot texts) to include the option of cuttering for commentor (or if necessary, publisher).(Aaron)
*             Update on droppable title words? (Aaron)
*             Updates from NLI? (David)
*             Training for new catalogers (Haim, Jasmin, Aaron)
*             Review and approval revised patronymic name policy on NARs (committee, Jasmin, Aaron).
