[Heb-NACO] Jewish Christians subject heading

Hi Sharon,

Thank you for bringing these headings to our attention. I'll bring this up at my next LCDGT meeting and propose a change to the note. As for the LCSH heading, we can add this to the list of other changes and proposals.

I was working on a NAR and on page 4 of the cover the author states he is a Messianic Jew. I looked in both LCSH and LCDGT and both use the term Jewish Christians. The scope note is really concerning and seems incorrect. "Here are entered
I was working on a NAR and on page 4 of the cover the author states he is a Messianic Jew. I looked in both LCSH and LCDGT and both use the term Jewish Christians. The scope note is really concerning and seems incorrect.
"Here are entered works on Christians of Jewish antecedence who still identify, or are identified, with their Jewish origins, including adherents of Messianic Judaism."

I don't think all "Messianic Jews" start off as Jews but are Christians who get involved in this movement. I propose that this subject term gets added to the Christian bias in LCSH project.
