[Heb-NACO] for those who romanize: גיא

[Shinohara, Jasmin]

Is the above name/word romanized Gai or Gayi. I’m seeing both in LC. The yod (vocalized with a sheva) has no dagesh, so I’m not sure why it would be Gayi, but I thought I’d ask the collective wisdom.
