[Heb-NACO] Hodashayim, hodshayim, or something else?

My inclination would be Hodshayim – the double yud forming a pair, like yadayim and raglayim.

I have a book in front of me called חודשיים. That's het vav shin yud yud.  Yup, that's the dual. So: Hodashayim or hodshayim?

Hodashayim is my reflex.
