Yes, definitely She’ar yashuv.
Think Shear-Yashuv Cohen and Aharon Shear-Yashuv, etc.
She’ar yishuv doesn’t make any sense. Those records should be corrected.

I am pretty sure it has to be yashuv due to the Biblical verse, but I would definitely add a 246 3 with yishuv because intuitively most of us would look under that.

A colleague of mine has raised the following query. The work in question is שאר ישוב Yerushalayim : Yad Yitsḥaḳ Ben-Tsevi, 729 [1968].

“I was cataloguing a revised edition of a well-known work by Itzhak Ben Zvi, about the return of the scattered remnants of Jewish communities (English title: Remnants of ancient Jewish communities in the Land of Israel).  Amazingly, all entries in OCLC of this edition romanise the second word as ‘yishuv’, despite the source references  in Isaiah 7: 3 and 10: 21, in which it is clear that the correct romanisation is ‘yashuv’.”

Is he right? I must admit I read it as yishuv, but clearly I don’t have his level of biblical knowledge!
