[Heb-NACO] Daniyel

Dear all,

If ‘Uzi’el, Uri’el and Gavri’el are all transcribed with alif, why is there an exception for Daniyel?

What is the linguistic reason for that? Why make things complicated?

Or perhaps somebody eliminated this exception altogether…
