I'ld suggest your first heading would probably go with eating (making brachos?) which results in classing in BM, with a second heading for "Weights and measures". -Aaron

Since so much of hatsi shi'ur has to do with measures when eating, shouldn't there be a subject heading that reflects this, in addition? What would you suggest?

I looked it up in Malmad to get more information on the work. I would suggest probably two headings, "Weights and measures, Jewish" (perhaps) and definitely "Weights and measures (Jewish law")". If the focus is on ritual matters, use whatever first heading goes with the rituals discussed, as "Weights and measures (Jewish law)" would class in KBM (and in any event, requires a proposal, but it would be routinely approved since the topic already as "Islamic law" as a qualifier). -Aaron

Hi,

1) Does anyone have ideas for appropriate subject headings for: Sefer Me ha-be'er : hidushim u-ve'urim be-dine hatsi shi'ur veha-mista'ef? This topic is hard to capture by existing authorized subject headings.
