Dear Colleagues,

Please find attached the minutes of a meeting held at LC on Monday, June 6th regarding Judaism genre/form headings.  We examined the ATLA list currently in development as well as the table on genre/form terms for Jewish law that Lenore Bell prepared (6/19/10).

As noted in the minutes, this was simply an initial meeting to get the discussion going.

Please review the list and consider the questions raised at the meeting.  We will devote some time at the cataloging committee meeting to discuss these issues and ways to move forward.

Please send me any comments you might have.
