We have confirmed the following guest speakers for the memorial service, which will be followed by an open mic for anyone who wishes to say a few words.



     Jan Box-Steffensmeier, Dean of Social & Behavioral Sciences, OSU

     Joan Huber, former Executive VP and Provost, OSU

     Morton O'Kelly, Director of CURA and former Geography Chair, OSU

     John Paul Jones III, Dean of Social Sciences, University of Arizona

     Patricia Gober, former Association of American Geographers President

     Paul Robbins, Director of the Nelson Institute, University of Wisconsin at Madison



A reception will follow in the gallery of Derby Hall.   The family of Larry Brown would like to share his library with everyone and all are welcome to Larry's office (Derby Hall 1178) if you are interested.



Larry impacted the life of everyone he met and we all have a  "Larry story" to share.   In honor of our beloved friend and colleague, Dr. Larry Brown, we will be sharing these stories at a memorial service hosted by the OSU Department of Geography.     The memorial will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. in Hagerty Hall room 180 on the OSU main campus.
