Thursday November 13 thru November 30 - Song Cycle
Eighteen Fugitive Songs describing people who are running away from
something for some reason. Combines off-Broadway and Americana sounds,
with some good harmonic singing. Online clips remind me of music from
Pippin. Nice, if the ambitious new Short North Stage company, which
specializes in musicals, does it well.
8 p.m. Thursdays thru Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays, at the Garden Theater,
1187 N. High St.
Tickets $30 at http://shortnorthstage.org/calendar/v/360.

Saturday November 15 - Classical Music
Richard Stoltzman, probably America's leading classical clarinetist,
performs in a guest artist concert as part of the International Clarinet
Association's Mid-American Festival, wich takes place at OSU from November
14 thru 16. Check for other performance during that time. 8 p.m., at
Weigel Auditorium.
