[Geog-dept] Congratulations to Ying Song

[Miller, Harvey J. (Harv)]

Please join me in congratulating Ying Song, who successfully passed her PhD candidacy exam today.  Her supervisory committee consists of Morton O'Kelly, Ningchuan Xiao, Desheng Liu and Harvey Miller (advisor).  Her dissertation research focuses on estimating the air quality impacts of accessibility using space-time prism-based cost measures.   Supporting her research is an award from the National Science Foundation -  "Green accessibility: Estimating the environmental costs of space-time prisms in sustainable transportation planning" PIs: Harvey Miller, Xuesong Zhou (Arizona State University) and Keith Bartholomew (University of Utah).
