Hello,

I’m the Editor in Chief at The Ohio State University Press. A few months ago the Press—along with 5 other university presses—was named a recipient on a Mellon grant aimed at increasing diversity in scholarly publishing. I’m reaching out to you now because we’re posting the fellowship and would like to get the word out as much as possible to interested and eligible applicants through relevant organizations and I’m hoping you can help.

The Mellon Diversity Editorial Fellow position is a full time, paid with benefits, 14-month position that begins June 1st. The position minimum requirements are a BA/BS and a commitment to using an understanding of the diversity of human experiences in developing, recruiting, and marketing manuscripts and books. Preferred requirements include an MA, MS, or PhD.

It’s a short posting time frame and we’re supposed to begin reviewing applications later this week, but we will accept and review applications through the 23rd and perhaps extend through the end of the month. Here is a link to the application: https://www.jobsatosu.com/postings/93305.
