You are cordially invited to the 2019 Society for Disability Studies conference, including our traditional dance, now known as the DISCO Ball<https://english.osu.edu/events/disco-ball-2019>! Join us April 7, 2019 for food, fun, and a thought-provoking keynote from Dr. Sami Schalk and Dr. Jina Kim titled “Integrating Race, Transforming Feminist Disability Studies.”

DISCO Ball is free and open to the public. Due to limited space, attendees are asked to register by filling out a webform (see the DISCO Ball<https://english.osu.edu/events/disco-ball-2019> site for link). The form will ask about the number of people in your party, dietary restrictions and access requests. The Blackwell Ballroom is wheels-accessible, and a quiet room will be available. While you’re making your plans, you may also wish to register for the Society for Disability Studies<http://disstudies.org/> and Multiple Perspectives<https://ada.osu.edu/multiple-perspectives-conference/2019-conference> conferences, taking place at the same time at OSU. (We apologize for the multiple registrations ... Both conferences are a labor of love, and we are working every year to streamline!)
