[DSOSU] REMINDER: Petition Form for "Race, Ethnicity, and Gender" GE Requirement - Please Sign by Friday (12/1)!!

Dear DISCO communities,



As many of you know, OSU is currently engaged in the process of revising
our General Education requirements, and the Revision Committee has
requested feedback on the draft of their plan.



The Disability Studies, Sexuality Studies, Asian American Studies, American
Indian Studies, and Latina/o Studies Program Directors met this week and
approved a proposal to request that a new foundational level requirement on
"Race, Ethnicity, and Gender" be incorporated in OSU's new General
Education curriculum. This would establish OSU as a leader in General
Education designed to foster the full participation of all in every aspect
of society. We ask you to join us in supporting this proposal by adding
your endorsement to our collective letter/petition at:

Please share this with all who might be interested, and even more
importantly, please reach out to colleagues across campus to talk with them
