[cid:image005.png at 01D21500.1ED2F210]Aimi Hamraie is assistant professor of Medicine, Health, and Society and American Studies, and director of the Mapping Access Project, at Vanderbilt University. Hamraie's interdisciplinary scholarship bridges critical disability, race, and feminist studies, architectural history, and science and technology studies. Their publications include Building Access: Universal Design, Disability, and the Politics of Knowing-Making (forthcoming from the University of Minnesota Press, 2017) and articles in Design and Culture, Disability Studies Quarterly, Foucault Studies, Hypatia: journal of feminist philosophy, philoSOPHIA, Age Culture Humanities, and The Politics of Place and Space: Exclusions, Resistance, Alternatives.
