COMING UP NEXT WEEK!!!


Join the The Center for the Study of Religion as it presents it's third and fourth Religious Studies Symposium of the 2017-2018 academic year on Religion, Narrative, and Media. These event will present a conversation between Dr. Erica Andrus (Senior Lecturer, University of Vermont) and Dr. Paul Hackett (Lecturer, Columbia University).

WHEN: April 3, 2018 from 4-6 PM
WHERE: The Ohio State University Faculty Club, Grand Lounge (1st Floor)
WHAT: "Re-enchantments for a Troubled Time: Spiritual and Ethical Trends in Contemporary Television"
WHO:  Diane Winston (University of Southern California) and Krista Tippett (host, On Being)

This event will feature a conversation between Diane Winston and Krista Tippett. WHO:  Jeffrey Kripal (Rice University) and Diana Pasulka (University of North Carolina Wilmington)

Dr. Kripal will be giving a talk titled, "Biological Gods: Science (Fiction) and Some Emergent Mythologies" and Dr. Pasulka will be giving a talk titled, "The Incarnational Technological Sacred: The Case of the Crashed UFO Artifact".
