Dear colleagues,

I am writing with an opportunity for an advanced graduate student to work with me as a research assistant over the summer, as I start work on a new project about racial representation in comics.

The work will consist of standard RA work like bibliographic research, literature review, research in online archives, research and identification of online and archival resources useful to the overall project, and perhaps other things as well, depending on fit and availability. It can of course be done remotely.

I will be able to pay my university’s standard rate of approximately GBP11/USD15 an hour, for a total of 2-4 weeks of full-time work spread out over a few months and depending on your schedule.

The position is open to people located anywhere in the world, but the method of payment and other terms will depend on whether you’re in the UK or abroad.

If this sounds interesting to you, please get in touch with a short description of your work and suitability for the position, no later than Tuesday, May 25.

Please feel free to pass this on to anyone you know who might be interested in working with me on this.

All best,
Frederik
