Greetings Members,

CSS is Looking for an Executive Treasurer!
The CSS Executive Board is looking for candidates for the appointed position of Executive Treasurer starting June 1st, 2021 until 2024.
The CSS Executive Treasurer is appointed by the Executive Board for a three-year term, with a possibility of a consecutive second term. The Executive Treasurer oversees the overall finances of the Society. This includes advising the Executive on financial matters at monthly Board meetings and as an Executive Officer, liaising with Ohio State University Press on membership and financial matters, running the Society’s banking, annual tax filings and possible audits, and serving on the annual Conference Organizing and Outreach Committees.
This is a crucial position for the Society, and the previous Executive Treasurer and current Executive Board will facilitate the job transition and training. We are looking for candidates with experience working with budgets and US accounting practices, organizational and/or administrative experience, and an interest in serving on the Executive Board in a more general capacity.
