Hello all and particularly CSS graduate students,

Please see the call that follows. Faculty in graduate programs are strongly
encouraged to pass this along to students they may think suitable. If there
are any questions, please contact current web editor Jeremy Carnes (
jeremy.carnes at ucf.edu) or myself.

---

The Graduate Student Caucus of the Comics Studies Society is now accepting
applications for its Web Editor position. This role primarily supports the
organization and the rest of the executive board of the Graduate Student
Caucus in composing, posting, and keeping up to date information on the GSC
website and the various social media sites (Twitter, Facebook, and
Instagram). The web editor, as part of the executive committee, is also
expected to attend monthly executive committee meetings and to be a current
member in good standing with the Comics Studies Society. The position also
requires experience with Wordpress as well as the social media platforms
listed above. The position does not require detailed experience with coding
of any sort because the site is already developed and running.

The Web Editor position requires a minimum two-year commitment with an
option to extend that to a third year depending on the position holder’s
graduate school standing and desire to remain in the position. Extensions
must be agreed on by the current executive board at the time of the request.

Interested parties should send Jeremy Carnes (jeremy.carnes at ucf.edu), the
current Web Editor, a 200-word bio detailing your experiences that would
make you a fit for the position. Applications are due by August 27, 2021.

Cheers,

Evan
