Hey comic nerds and Australian writers. I need your help! I’ve got a plague related book called THE GROT coming out the middle of a pandemic. It’s a major work for me. I’m really proud of it. But there’s a problem: the comics industry distributor has just stopped operating and I’m frightened that my book will get buried in used face masks and soiled latex gloves. I think I need to hustle to get people to review it and write about it.

I’ve completely lost touch with the indie comics press and the Australian literature press. SO I have some questions for you:

Do you review comics or write profiles of people who make comics? Do you want a review copy of the Graphic Novel? I can send you a media pack right now. Hit me up?

Does anyone have a friend or secret child who lives under the stairs who reviews comics or new Australian literature? Any publication, any circulation, any country. I’ll do interviews, photo shoots, film spots, dumb stunts, embarrassing cooking shows, etc. Can you tag them here and/or put me in touch with them?

Does anyone want to use the comments to list a few critics, writers, podcasts or publications that they read to find out about what’s going on in indie comics or Australian writing?
