[Cmrsundergrad] 1/14: Medieval Latin reading group begins

Moriarty, Megan moriarty.8 at osu.edu
Thu Jan 9 10:12:37 EST 2025

The Medieval Latin reading group will meet on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 pm, during the Spring 2025 semester, beginning January 14 through April 29, with a break on February 11 and over spring break (3/11). All meetings are via Zoom.
Participants in the Medieval Latin reading group are not required to prepare the readings ahead of time, and no one should feel obligated to participate aloud, if you're more comfortable listening. We are happy to accommodate participants with all levels of Latin expertise, including those who have never tried Latin or who have forgotten everything they once knew.
Professor Leslie Lockett will host the reading group meetings this semester. This semester we are continuing to read Pantaleone da Confienza's Summa lacticiniorum, a humanist Latin treatise on dairy products.
If you would like to receive the Zoom meeting link and be added to the mailing list for future links and readings, please contact Professor Leslie Lockett at lockett.20 at osu.edu<mailto:lockett.20 at osu.edu>.
