[Cmrsundergrad] Tolkien Days Conference at OSU, February 20-21

Dear friends and affiliates,

The Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies is hosting an event later
this month on Popular Culture and the Deep Past, centering on the worlds of
J.R.R. Tolkien.

'Tolkien Days' will take place this month on Feb. 20-21, 2015 (Friday and
Saturday), on the Ohio State campus. It will include an academic conference
as well as a 'medieval faire' experience. Scholarly presentations on
diverse topics relating to Tolkien's works will take place on both days,
and we will have falconers, exhibits of art and manuscripts, food and drink
purveyors, musicians, gaming, children's activities, and other attractions on
Saturday.

We warmly welcome anyone who would like to participate in or attend the
event!
