[CE_GRAD] Reminder: Applications to Graduate AU21 Due Friday!

A reminder to those planning to graduate this Autumn 2021 that Applications to Graduate on GradForms are due Friday (9/10) by the end of the business day!

Application to graduate:

  *   Log in to GradForms<https://gradforms.osu.edu/> with name.# and password
  *   Look for the "Create New Application to Graduate" button

  *   Select the term you want to graduate and the appropriate year.  (If your intention is to use the regular deadlines for graduation then do NOT select the end-of-semester option.  Only select end-of-semester if you know for sure that you will not complete degree requirements by the regular deadlines, but will meet them by the end-of-semester deadline (1/7/22) and your degree will be conferred at the end of the next semester.)
  *   Complete all sections and verify that the information is correct, then submit the application to obtain approvals

Checking your application to graduate status:

  *   View the history tab to see who has/has not approved yet

  *   If the form says "PENDING" it means something needs to be completed at the departmental level (either grad chair/coordinator approval or advisor, or both)
  *   If the form says "PENDINGGS" it means that all departmental approvals are complete and the application is with the OSU Graduate School - once it reaches this step there are no further actions for you to complete on your application by the application deadline

Please make sure if you are planning to graduate this Autumn 2021 that your application has been submitted and approved by all appropriate members by 5pm on Friday, September 10th!  There are no exceptions to this deadline.  The Graduate School's graduation calendar<https://gradsch.osu.edu/calendar/graduation> and final semester procedures and timelines checklists<https://gradsch.osu.edu/final-semester-procedures-and-timelines> outline all important dates and requirements to complete your degree.
