[Cbe-grads] Spring 2025 Registration Information and Reminders!

Dear Graduate Students,

I hope you had a great weekend. Most of you will have registration windows opening for Spring 2025 very soon. Please plan on registering early. Also remember, you will need to complete the Financial Responsibility Statement to remove the hold on your account to be able to register.

I am attaching the teaching schedule for technical electives and core courses. I received the syllabus for CBE 5194 Finite Elements.

Below are some reminders regarding credit hours.

Also, all Ph.D. students need to register for CBE 8895 Seminar each Autumn and Spring semester.


Graduate Research Associate/Graduate Teaching Associate:

Pre-Candidacy: 8 credit hours (We recommend registering for 18 hours)

Post-Candidacy: 3 credit hours



Fellowship Positions:

Pre-Candidacy: 12 credit hours (We recommend registering for 18 hours)

Post-Candidacy: 3 credit hours



Research Numbers:

CBE 8999: PhD Dissertation Research

CBE 6999: MS Thesis Research/Non Thesis Project
