[Cbe-grads] NITROGEN OUTAGE 5/22/24

All,
The outage will be Wednesday May 22nd from 8:00 AM till 10:00 am. This outage will only impact the north labs on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors (170,190; 270,290; 370,390;470,490) Labs on the south side and the basement will still have house nitrogen.

During this time there will not be house nitrogen in the north labs. Please purge gloveboxes before the outage and turn off any equipment the requires nitrogen.

Tomorrow during the outage please make sure all nitrogen ports in the impacted labs be closed. This will help when bringing the nitrogen back online.

Where: CBEC 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor north labs
Date: Wednesday May 22nd (tomorrow)
Time: 8am till 10am
Duration: 2 hours
Impact: House nitrogen will be down to the north floor labs

All,
On Wednesday we will be conducting a leak detection test on the north side of the building nitrogen system. The outage will be about 2 hours long (probably less). Each lab will be isolated from the supply line. Make sure all nitrogen ports are closed. This will affect CBE labs 470, 490, and 075.
