I am thrilled to share my reappointment of Dr. Umit Ozkan as chair of the William G. Lowrie Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.

Since being named chair in 2019, Professor Ozkan has been an exemplary leader and was named a Distinguished University Professor in 2021. I am confident she will continue to identify opportunities to enhance CBE offerings and attract the very best students, faculty, and staff.
