My name is Alexandra Cabanelas Bermudez and I am the recruitment chair of the Ohio State SACNAS Chapter. If you're unfamiliar with SACNAS<http://sacnas.org/>, we are an inclusive national organization that fosters the success of underrepresented minority groups in STEM.



As part of our mission, every year we organize and host a networking event for underrepresented minorities in STEM at Ohio State called CIENCIAS<https://u.osu.edu/sacnaschapterosu/every-fall-ciencia/>. This year, CIENCIAS 2021 will be back in person on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at 4 pm.



This event should provide your department's faculty, staff and especially students a much needed forum to meet other scientists like them, and maybe even form mentorship relationships.
