Information about COVID-19 Surveillance Testing
If a student can provide confirmation/documentation that they will not be on campus the week they are scheduled to be tested, they can do a weekly exemption process<file://coeit.osu.edu/shares/CBE/GRADPRGM/GRADUATE%20STUDENT%20RESOURCES/Weekly%20Newsletters/Autumn%202020/go.osu.edu/SHSexemption>. They are not able to submit for the full semester If they are planning to be on campus (for meetings, use of library/rec centers/etc.) at all in any way, even during off days/hours because they still run the chance of being in contact with others. CGS Health & Wellness Check-In Survey
The Council of Graduate Students' Health, Wellness, and Safety committee, as well as CGS generally, would like to check in with the graduate student population. We'd like to see how you are doing while we are living in such unprecedented times. Please fill this survey out so that we can see what we can be going as a council to better support the needs of our students in the graduate student community. This survey was created by students, is being administered by students, and is specifically for students to have a way to anonymously answer questions about how this year has been for you when it comes to overall well being. CGS would love to be here to support you in whatever ways we can; this survey will be a huge help to do exactly that.

Take the survey!<https://maestroweb.studentaffairs.ohio-state.edu/trk/click?ref=z10j1mkdhf_0-13ecx35628x0499&>

If you have any questions, feel free to contact committee chair Abby Grieff at grieff.2 at osu.edu<mailto:grieff.2 at osu.edu>. Thank you!

2020-2021 Departmental Representatives & Autumn Election
Interested in representing your department and serving as delegate within CGS? As a delegate, you serve as the direct contact between the Council and your constituents. Your job is to bring forth any issues graduate students may be having and take note of pertinent events and legislation that affect your fellow students. Delegates also serve on an internal CGS Committee and an external University Committee. Autumn 2020 elections will take place September 28-October 7; application are due by September 26th. Leadership Week 2020
Are you looking to grow and develop as a leader? In this particularly challenging year, values-based leadership has never been more important. That's where Leadership Week comes in! Leadership Week is a university-wide collaboration to strengthen the culture of leadership at Ohio State. Whether you have lots of leadership experience or are new to the concept, we encourage you to attend at least one event to strengthen your leadership abilities in one or several of the leadership themes explored throughout the week. Programs are all open to all students, staff and faculty, though some programs have indicated a target audience, and all are centered around one of our five themes: Career Development, Community Engagement, Inclusion, Personal Exploration and Wellness. Leadership Week 2020 will be held October 5-9. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Leadership Week 2020 will be fully virtual.
