[CBE Graduate Research Symposium]

Dear CBE Students and Researchers,

Thank you for registering for the 9th Annual CBE Graduate Research Symposium, held virtually via Zoom, this year! This is a reminder that the event is next week on Tuesday, 22nd September!

Please refer to the Event Guide<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rHnSdlGWSBuKGYvQ2Guamr3oTDblR69w/view?usp=sharing> which contains all the instructions for attending the entire event via Zoom.

BRIEF OVERVIEW OF EVENT:

  1.  Morning Session including Opening Remarks, Keynote Address and Oral presentations:  Zoom Webinar
  2.  Poster Session: View pre-recorded presentations on YouTube followed by LIVE Q&A session via Zoom breakout rooms. Please do NOT join Zoom using your phone.
  3.  Networking Hour (IMPORTANT):  Please do NOT join Zoom using your phone.
     *   Feel free to move around different breakout rooms to interact with alumni, industrial reps, students and other faculty members.
     *   Industrial attendees who have expressed an interest in networking for recruiting purposes will have their individual break out rooms (named after that attendee). You may connect with these recruiters by joining their breakout rooms.
     *   You may join one of the many available private breakout rooms if you wish to have a one-on-one conversation with a particular attendee.
     *   You may also choose to hang-out at one of the common breakout rooms called Graduate Student Hub.
  4.  Awards and Closing Ceremony: Attend via the same zoom link as that of the Networking Hour
