[Cbe-grads] International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) Local Chapter re-reboot

Message from Professor David Wood:

Hi All,

I was the faculty sponsor for the OSU student chapter of ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers) until it fell apart a couple of years ago.  It was housed in the chemistry department, and there weren't any engineers in it.

I got an email last spring from the society asking if we were interested in getting it started again, but about the time we were going to get it started the pandemic hit.  I know a lot of people emailed and expressed interest, but I also know that a lot of those people have graduated since then and more new people have joined the department.

So now we are going to try a reboot of our reboot.  (This time for sure.)

If you are interested in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, this is a good organization to help build your network.

Alex Bajzer has agreed to take a leadership role on this, and asks that if you are interested you contact him directly (bajzer.3 at buckeyemail.osu.edu<mailto:bajzer.3 at buckeyemail.osu.edu>).

If it looks like we have enough people, then we can start the process of getting the student chapter going again, and I would be happy to sponsor again.  Last semester we had plenty.
