Dear All,
Please join me in congratulating Joel Paulson and his team for being selected as the winner of the Application Paper Prize at the IFAC World Congress this year. This work was actually the first paper he submitted as a faculty member last year in October.
IFAC stands for the “International Federation on Automatic Control” and is one of the main organizations in Joel’s  field. The World Congress conference is held once every 3 years (about 3000 participants). The information is posted online here:  https://www.ifac-control.org/awards/congress-prizes#Application.
